How to Measure Radius

The radius of a bend is measured from the middle of the conduit, to the 90° point, not including the socket.

Below picture shows how the radius was worked out on 100mm, 90° bend.

• Stand bend against wall
• Measure from where wall meets floor to the underside of the conduit (in this example the measurement is 950mm)
• From this number, subtract the diameter of the socket (100mm)
• 950mm -100mm give a radius of 850mm.
